Job Description:
Description This position is responsible for supporting Kenworth's enterprise and business software applications. The IT Project Manager will lead large-scale business and enterprise application projects, ensuring successful delivery from planning through implementation. As a senior member of the IT team, this role also serves as a technical mentor, providing guidance and expertise to other team members. Additionally, the Project Manager will assist the IT Help Desk and IT Analysts in managing daily operations and fulfilling tasks assigned by the IT Director. Potential Travel to other store locations: Because Kenworth has multiple store locations outside of the Buffalo region, there may be occasions when you will need to be available for travel assignments. Cross-Coverage: Because Kenworth is a small IT shop, there will be times when you may need to assist with tasks that are typically the responsibility of other IT team members. You will be trained and provided with written documentation for those tasks. After Hours Support: This position requires after-hours and on-call support to address the 2nd shift and Saturday hours for high-priority IT technical issues. Urgent tickets that cannot wait for next business day resolution Any Downtime situations Project Planning and Execution WSUS updates Inventory management and record keeping (NinjaOne) Inventory ordering Inventory reports Advanced phone routing 2nd level support for Enterprise Applications Outlook Accounts O365 Accounts Microsoft Platform (Office and PowerPlatform) Misc Enterprise apps (see software inventory sheet) Support for Sage software Internet support IT support for Business Application Admins Liaison to Premcom Attend weekly meetings Review monthly QBR reports Remediate any outstanding issues identified by Premcom Network and Security Oversight Servers (PremCom/Veem) Fotigate server equipment (Adva, switches and routers), Ethernet Cabling FortiClient VPN Identifying security Incidents (SentinelOne) Security Awareness Employee Training Campaigns Monitor for possible Intrusion prevention Security Remediation and strengthening RequirementsPosition Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills Active listener and detailed oriented Ability to explain complex ideas simply Problems solving and analytical thinking Time management and adaptability Able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude Business acumen and confidentiality Experience with Microsoft O365 and Group Policies, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Networking and Server maintenance, Jotform, Smartsheets Experience with supporting business application products with respect to their hardware/software application requirements Experience with Asset management tools such as NinjaOne and LanSweeper Basic understanding of computer networks, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other office equipment High School degree and 2 years in a software-development/networking role Microsoft Certification with 1 year in a software-development/networking role Associate's degree in IT or related field with 1 year in a software-development/networking role BA in IT or related field with 6 months to 1 year in a software-development/networking role
