The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, materials, labor, and time requirements. This role plays a critical part in securing profitable projects and ensuring financial success from pre-construction through completion. Key Responsibilities Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine scope and requirements Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns Estimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations Develop competitive bid proposals and tender documents Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options Maintain up-to-date cost databases and pricing records Assist in contract negotiations and project budgeting Monitor project costs against estimates and report variances Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred) 3+ years of experience in construction estimating Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations If you are interested, please submit your resume to Miami-Dade (South), FL 2044 10491 N Kendall Drive Suite F-202 Miami, FL 33176
