Travel Computed Tomography Tech | Kenna, West Virginia

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in CT imaging, located in Kenna, WV. This travel position offers a dynamic environment within a busy radiology department equipped with one CT scanner and two X-ray rooms. The radiology unit performs approximately 10-20 CT scans and 100 X-rays daily, utilizing GE X-ray and Cannon CT technology. Responsibilities: Perform routine CT exams, including CT angiography (CTA), and all routine X-rays. Stock and maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms. Operate and troubleshoot department-specific equipment such as Cannon CT and GE X-ray machines. Float to the Operating Room (OR) as needed to assist with imaging. Document procedures in the EPIC electronic medical records system and manage images using FUJI PACS. Adhere to radiation safety protocols; a radiation badge is required and must be provided by the staffing agency. Respond to on-call standby shifts with a one-hour response time when required. Qualifications: Active ARRT (R) certification in Radiologic Technology; CT training required (CT registry not mandatory). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience performing routine X-rays and CT imaging. Ability to work independently in a setting without an in-house radiologist. Must possess an unexpired driver's license (submission required). Comfortable working flexible shifts including 12-hour afternoon and midnight schedules. Willingness to float to other areas such as the OR. Familiarity with EPIC EMR and FUJI PACS preferred. Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, primarily afternoons/midnights (9 AM-9 PM, 7 AM-7 PM, and occasionally 7 PM-7 AM). Possible weekend hours and standby call.
