CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Buyer I to support their procurement and supply chain operations.Type: ContractJob Title: Technical Buyer ILocation: Keene, NHCandidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Keene, NHPay Rate: Based on experienceWork Hours: M-F 8am-5pmEducation: Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).DescriptionThis role is responsible for managing supplier interactions, supporting indirect purchasing activities, and ensuring continuity of supply. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position operates within an ITAR and Department of Defense (DoD) facility and requires strict adherence to government and company compliance standards.Requirements:• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records• Request supplier quotations and evaluate pricing and delivery terms• Create, issue, and manage purchase orders• Resolve invoicing discrepancies and payment issues with vendors and internal teams• Support indirect spend purchasing activities• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders• Ensure compliance with ITAR, DoD requirements, company policies, and industry best practicesQualifications• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain• Experience working with vendors, issuing purchase orders, and managing order status• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly with invoice or payment discrepancies• Familiarity with NDAs and supplier agreements preferred• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and indirect procurement preferred• Demonstrated negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment• Must be compliant with DoD/ITAR requirements and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holderAdditional Information• No third party resumes will be accepted• Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted• CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of all applicable local, state, and federal laws.• All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third party vendors)• CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer• CTG is an E-Verify CompanyAbout CTGCTG, a Cegeka company, is at the forefront of digital transformation, providing IT and business solutions that accelerate project momentum and deliver desired value.
