Senior BIM/CAD Technician

Immediate need for a talented Senior BIM/CAD Technician. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Kansas City, MO (Onsite). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:The Senior BIM/CAD Technician will assess and enhance Facilities department BIM practices, workflows, and standards to improve efficiency and execution.Consult with Facilities team to assess current BIM processes, workflows, and Revit usageRecommend and implement process improvements, standards, and best practicesDevelop BIM documentation, maintenance frameworks, and workflowsIdentify and define automation opportunities using Revit tools and featuresTrain and mentor staff in Revit skills and execution (Revit is a must-have skill)Develop and present solutions to technical and design challenges following industry standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives within BIM and CAD environmentsPerform additional duties as assignedEnsure compliance with all company policies and standardsKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Bachelor's degree in Drafting Technology or related field with 13+ years of experienceOR Associate degree with 14+ years of experienceOR 15+ years of progressive detailing and design experienceExpert-level experience with Revit (MANDATORY), AutoCAD, and ExcelStrong expertise in BIM concepts and Revit functionality including:Hosted vs. non-hosted elementsView ranges, visibility/graphics, filters, templatesRevit families, parameters, schedules, and standardsDesign options and view templatesExperience with Dynamo, pyRevit scripting, AutoCAD LISP development, and Revit-AutoCAD integrationExperience with CTC Software tools is a plusExposure to Microsoft Power BI and IWMS platforms is a plusProven experience in training or mentoring team membersStrong knowledge of architecture, design systems, and calculationsWorking knowledge of architectural design codes anctd specificationsAbility to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detailOur client is a leading environmental, and consulting services Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
