Nurse Practitioner (APRN)Location: Kansas City, KSDuration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension)Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PMLate Clinic: Wednesdays 8:30 AM 6:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered reproductive and women s healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have experience in family planning, women s health, and preventive care while working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities• Provide comprehensive reproductive and women s health services • Perform: o Physical assessments o Sports physicals o Work physicals o Limited acute care services • Conduct routine gynecological examinations including: o Pelvic exams o Breast exams o Colposcopy services (training available) • Prescribe medications within scope of practice • Order and interpret diagnostic tests • Provide patient education and pregnancy options counseling Patient Care & Coordination• Deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care • Educate patients on preventive and reproductive health topics • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as needed • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Administrative Responsibilities• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation • Support development of clinical protocols and procedures • Assist with clinic operations and quality improvement initiatives Required Qualifications• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license • Active and unrestricted APRN/NP license in the State of Kansas • Experience in: o Reproductive Health o Family Planning o OB/GYN o Women s Health • Current BLS certification • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
