Postdoctoral Fellow

We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to work at the Center for Translational Biomedical Research at University of North Carolina at Greensboro.This position is expected to perform NIH-funded basic research focusing on the pathogenesis of alcoholic liver disease. Areas of research interest include (1) lipid metabolic disorder and lipotoxicity in alcohol-induced liver damage and (2) intestinal immune disorder, dysbiosis, and barrier dysfunction in alcohol-induced bacterial translocation and hepatitis. These research interests are reflected in our recent publications such as Hepatology (PMID 31520476, PMID 36626632), Gut (PMID 33177163), and Metabolism (PMID 36349655).Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in biomedicine.
