Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONManage the Remediation Services division by overseeing the probability and expenses of the division to achieve pre-agreed targets. Oversee work of various project teams in the Remediation Services division. Maintain a good working relationship with all customers. Predict the costs of future projects to determine if a proposed project will be profitable. Participate in the estimation process for all projects.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers in field•Become embedded with target market clients to expand client exposure to full line of company services•Develop cost information in order to determine profitability•Preparation of detailed quantity surveys or "takeoffs", for estimating the cost of labor, material and equipment•Prepare detailed project cost estimate, summary and bids for senior management approval•Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures•Monitor cost and schedule fluctuations, and make appropriate revisions to cost estimates•Manage small to large size projects in Remediation•Planning, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, ensuring quality of work, consistency across projects, ensuring safety of staff, coordinating with consultants and internal support staff, and communicating with the client and regulators•Day-to-day interaction, as well as presenting information and frequent participation at meetings with our client and regulators will be expected•Become an integral part of our team and spend quality time at the field sites when not engaged in client activities in the office or performing duties on the launch of new projects•Develop and plan procedures and programs to meet the specific needs of the company and clients•Interact with supervisors and field workers in order to identify best work practices.•Recommend changes to marketing plans, business plans and sales strategies based on marketplace•Interacting with internal team players•Interacting with external clients and regulators• Development of proposals and set-up upcoming jobs• Serve as a customer liaison• Participation in trade association groups• Prepare and submit job status reports as directed by management and requested by customers•Provide leadership to more junior staff•Support and comply with all components of the company's safety program•Regular and physical attendance is an essential function of this position•Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position•These items are not meant to be exhaustive of responsibilities, duties or requirements.
