Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted company policies and practicesResponsible for the integrity of Tangible and Intangible Assets and depreciation calculations for multiple locations. Insure proper recording of new acquisitions, internal transfers and dispositions. Prepares amortization and depreciation projections for forecast and budgeting activities.Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactionsResponsible for resolving overdue bills and collecting payments including negotiating payment termsCalculation and posting of Bad Debt Reserve and AR Account Analysis per Group Guidelines.Analyzes General Ledger for variances and exceptions and prepares journal entries for month end closing.Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.Assists Controllers in the preparation of monthly Financial Statements, Forecasts and BudgetsPerform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in accounting required3 - 5 years related work experienceProficient in Microsoft ExcelMUST HAVE SAP EXPERIENCEAccounts Receivables Experience required.Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IFRS) a plusAbility to work with others in complex management matrix structureExcellent communications skills, both written and verbalMust possess "soft skills": conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, and influencing skillsExpertise in dealing with people effectively and politelyMinimal Travel (primarily domestic)US Citizen or Qualified U.S. WorkerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
