Job DescriptionAramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Custodial Services Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to join the team at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) in Juneau, AK. The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager is responsible for developing and executing facility solutions to ensure all health, safety, sanitation, and quality standards are met. The role supports a geographically dispersed custodial operation spanning multiple medical office buildings and clinics across Juneau and surrounding villages, with Juneau serving as the operational headquarters.Job ResponsibilitiesLeadershipOverall ownership and accountability for operational management and financial performance of the custodial services unitCoach and develop employees by creating a shared understanding of goals, expectations, and performance standardsReward and recognize employees to drive engagement and retentionIdentify top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organizationPlan and lead team management meetings and operational huddlesEnsure safety, sanitation, and quality standards are upheld across all sitesClient RelationshipEstablish and maintain strong client and customer relationships for a mutually beneficial partnershipIdentify client needs and communicate operational progress and service updatesDeliver and model Aramark?s WEST principles as the foundation for excellent customer serviceFacilitate and support new business initiatives and retention effortsDevelop custodial programs and service plans to meet client specifications and operational demandsFinancial PerformanceBuild revenue and manage department budgets, including cost controls for labor, supplies, and inventoryEnsure completion and maintenance of financial statements related to the departmentMaintain oversight and accountability for achieving client and company financial targetsAdopt Aramark systems and processes and eliminate custom or manual reportingUnderstand operational performance metrics, labor productivity, and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve marginsProductivity & Operational ExcellenceImplement and maintain the General Manager (GM) agenda for labor management and total quality requirementsCreate value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit managementEnsure consistent application of Aramark?s operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence)Support sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and labor productivityQualificationsHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Bachelor?s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience2?5 years of experience in custodial, housekeeping, or Environmental Services (EVS) operationsHealthcare, clinical, or multi-site experience preferredPrior supervisory or managerial experience preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingWorking knowledge of custodial equipment, cleaning processes, and safety standardsStrong organizational, time management, and basic computer skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced environmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and apply sound judgment to routine situationsAbout AramarkOur MissionRooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.At Aramark, we believe that every employee should enjoy equal employment opportunity and be free to participate in all aspects of the company.
