As a Multi-Unit Operations Leader, you will oversee three H&R Block tax offices, harnessing your leadership skills to foster customer-focused teams and drive growth during the busy tax season. You will act as the primary manager accountable for developing associates, delivering an exceptional client experience, and achieving growth targets. Your flexible part-time schedule begins in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as necessary. Experience managing multiple units in settings such as retail, restaurants, banking, or similar fields. What you'll bring to the team... Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across all offices, supported by Associate Team Leaders. Collaborate with the District General Manager (DGM) to devise and execute growth plans, including community partnerships. Help recruit and interview candidates for tax office associate roles. Conduct performance reviews and work with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues. Foster an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates and recognizing exceptional contributions. Lead daily team meetings and communicate vital information to the teams across all offices. Create work schedules and manage timekeeping for all associates. Travel between offices as needed. Prepare tax returns if eligible, following successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment. Your Expertise: Proven people management experience with an ability to grow and develop talent. Aptitude for executing growth initiatives and fostering a culture of development. Excellent decision-making skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office. Bachelor's degree in a related field or high school diploma with relevant experience. Successful completion of H&R Block's Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
