Forklift Operator

Ensure that product is picked in a manner that ensures proper rotation of inventory and that the production line is always supplied with enough materials to keep operating. This position is a 12 hour rotating shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Picking all raw material and ingredients for production Pull all materials by the oldest lot code on the pick list first Ensure that all returns to the warehouse are clean, secured, weighed and properly labeled Work with production to ensure that all partial bags are used first Return materials to the proper place in the warehouse/no mixed pallets Ensure that all raw materials in the warehouse are labeled Cycle counting / inventory control Confirm order / product completion & condition Forklift battery changing maintenance Palletizing as needed Lunch and break relief as needed Report all problems immediately to the supervisor Report inventory issues to the inventory control team Maintain all work areas in a clean and sanitary condition Performs all work in a safe, efficient and cooperative manner Perform any other work duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED Forklift certification 2+ years of forklift experience On the job training An Equal Opportunity Employer
