CT TECHNOLOGIST - PRN (As Needed)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Complex operation of CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment * Position patients for CT using patient positioning devices and PPE * Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology * Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration * Proficient in IV placement * Coordinate scheduling and patient flow * Assist with ACR accreditation * Maintain strict confidentiality * Follow organizational policies and procedures REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED * Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in CT scan applications. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: * License with the Tennessee State Department of Health as an X-Ray Operator. * Certificate received from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART). Advanced certification in CT preferred. * If not registered, CT Registration through ARRT required within 12 months of hire. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
