Pharmacist

Enter Job Description... Prepare, compound, dispense, and distribute medications as prescribed Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions Provide medication counseling and education as appropriate Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation Ensure compliance with federal, state, and BOP pharmacy regulations Monitor medication storage conditions, expiration dates, and inventory levels Participate in formulary management and medication reconciliation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to optimize patient care Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substance accountability Participate in quality assurance and infection control programs Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (State license accepted) Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacist experience (correctional, hospital, or clinical preferred) Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug safety, and dispensing practices Ability to work independently in a structured, secure environment Excellent communication and documentation skills EEO Employer LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
