Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Full Time Jersey City / Hudson County, NJ Secondary Locations: Bayonne & West New York NJ 10 minutes from NYC Our expanding Oncology/Hematology practice is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join a collaborative, patient-centered team supporting four physicians across Jersey City and the greater Hudson County region. With increasing patient volume and two additional satellite locations (Bayonne and West New York), this role is ideal for an APN who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate cancer care.You ll play a key role in direct patient management, treatment planning, symptom management, and care coordination for a diverse patient population. About the OpportunityTeam of four (4) physicians.Locations: Jersey City, Bayonne, West New York.Work schedule: 8:00am 5:00pm.Comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision/dental/prescription, FSA, retirement plan, life insurance, malpractice insurance, generous paid time off (PTO), tuition assistance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Fitness discount/Gym reimbursement program, and more What your day will look likeProvide comprehensive clinical care to oncology and hematology patients under physician collaboration.Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and survivorship care.Manage acute and chronic symptoms related to cancer and its treatments.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.Participate in treatment planning, including chemotherapy/immunotherapy education and monitoring.Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, including infusion services, radiology, and supportive care.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.Rotate coverage across Jersey City, Bayonne, and West New York locations as needed.Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to practice growth.
