Job Description:
Human Resources Intern As a Human Resources Intern, you will work closely with HR leaders and mentors on a strategic project designed to support our people, culture, and overall business strategy. Through research, analysis, and collaboration, you will develop solutions and present your recommendations to the HR leadership team. In addition to your project work, you will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day functions of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, total rewards, learning and development, and HR operations. Day in the Life As part of the Human Resources team, you will contribute to a meaningful project that directly impacts our employees and workplace experience. Throughout the summer, you will follow a structured experience and development plan designed to help you grow professionally and apply your field of study in a real-world HR environment. You will collaborate with HR partners across multiple disciplines, gather and analyze data, compile and share reports, build professional relationships, and participate in team meetings and employee-focused initiatives. You will also have opportunities to observe key HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Your program will conclude with a capstone presentation, where you will formally share insights from your project and provide recommendations for next steps and future implementation. What it Takes This internship is for an undergraduate student in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related majors from an accredited college/university with a minimum GPA of 2.8 (cumulative). To thrive in this role, you must have outstanding work ethic, project and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work well individually and in teams. Being highly motivated, resourceful and results-driven will help you to complete the necessary milestones of the project. You must also have the ability to ask questions, as well as provide and receive feedback. Access to reliable transportation for various training and networking events is required. Bonus Points: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an interest in relationship building through consultative sales. Customer service oriented and able to adapt as needed to meet customer and or business needs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and obtain goals.
