Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with strong acute care and Epic charting skills for a 12-hour night shift position. Job Details • Work in a 300-bed acute care community hospital setting, • Patient population includes infants through geriatrics, with neonatal patients preferred, • Provide care in ER, adult med/surg, and adult critical care units, • Responsibilities include nebs, CPT, high flow oxygen, NIV, cough assist, IPV, assisting with intubations and bronchoscopies, mechanical vent management, and in-house transport of vented patients, • Occasional care in pediatric ER and pediatrics if competency is demonstrated-no NICU Level 3 assignments, • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, and no call, • Epic EMR used; experience required, • Preferred equipment experience includes Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and LTV 1200/HT70, Job Requirements • Current NH state license or eligibility; license required if applicable, • Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital respiratory therapy experience, • Experience in trauma, community hospital, ER, and adult ICU settings required, • BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted), • References required for consideration; second reference may be submitted later, • Epic charting experience required, • Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, CRTT, RRT, • Preferred experience: level I trauma, teaching hospital, PICU, and acute pediatric care, • Respiratory care experience in airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, CPAP, and bronchoscopes preferred, Additional Information • Daily duties include comprehensive respiratory care and support for a diverse patient population, • Team covers all ages from infants to geriatric patients in acute care and critical care settings, • Travelers must not have been a former employee at any facility associated with SolutionHealth, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Travelers within 50 miles are accepted at the local pay rate, • Candidates must comply with scrub and dress code requirements as specified by the facility
