Job Description:
LeMans is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, operate, secure, and continually enhance our enterprise network infrastructure across manufacturing, corporate, and remote environments. This role ensures reliable connectivity and high performance across both on-premises systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), all while applying modern security and Zero-Trust principles.As a Network Engineer, you'll collaborate closely with Security Operations, Systems, Cloud, and IT Support teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions that support automation, scalability, and continuous improvement across the business.What You'll DoDesign, deploy, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and VoIP infrastructure across all locationsImplement standards for routing, switching, addressing, QoS, and high availability to support production-critical operationsPerform lifecycle management for all network devices, including firmware, configuration standards, and replacement planningTroubleshoot complex Layer 1-7 networking issues and support vulnerability remediationImplement secure segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, and Zero-Trust aligned practicesIntegrate network telemetry into SIEM tools and support improvements to alerts and response playbooksSupport NAC/802.1X, secure VPN posture, certificate-based authentication, and secure administrative accessManage SD-WAN and WAN circuits, including ISP/vendor coordination and site cutoversAdminister site-to-site VPNs (IPsec) and remote access VPN with strong encryption and monitoringManage wireless infrastructure, including RF optimization, authentication (802.1X/RADIUS), and capacity planningSupport cloud networking across AWS/Azure/OCI (VPC/VNETs, routing, NSGs, hybrid connectivity)Maintain cloud-to-on-prem connectivity and validate redundancy/resiliencyMonitor network performance and availability; tune alerts and respond to network incidentsMaintain accurate diagrams and documentation, continuously seeking opportunities to improve performance, resiliency, and securityEvaluate emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and securityMaintain confidentiality and perform additional duties as assignedWhat You BringCore SkillsAttention to Detail - Highly accurate, thorough, consistentIndustry & Technical Knowledge - Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsOrganization - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectivelyCommunication - Clear, concise, and adaptable in verbal and written communicationSpecialized SkillsRouting & Switching (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VLANs, QoS) - Excellent proficiencyNetwork Security - Firewalls, segmentation, Zero-Trust concepts, RADIUS/TACACS+Cloud Networking - VPCs/VNETs, routing, hybrid connectivity (Good proficiency)Monitoring & Observability - SIEM integrations, packet capturesAutomation & CI/CD - Scripting and network automation (Good proficiency)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Networking or IT-related field4-6 years of hands-on Network Engineering experiencePreferred Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIEValid Driver's LicenseTravel: Up to 10%Physical RequirementsSit for extended periods (7+ hours/day)Lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally)Use stairs/ladders (occasionally)Operate a vehicle for extended periodsAir travel (occasionally)Read from screens and communicate verbally and in writing frequentlyReasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.DisclaimersNothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.LeMans Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
