Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for an Evening Decentral Critical Care Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, evening shift opportunity with working hours of 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, with every fourth weekend required. This candidate will have the opportunity to support Med Surg ICU, Med Surg PCU, Neuro Intermediate Care, and Neuro ICU and work directly with physicians and nurse practitioners. This candidate will have a team of support and have teaching opportunities as well. This candidate should be a strong communicator, proactive, have excellent time management skills, and a passion for patient care. Clinical experience is required, and a completed residency is preferred. As an Evening Decentral ICU Pharmacist, you will be responsible for: Entering orders with great accuracy.Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.Supervising technicians and serves on committees as assigned.Answering questions for all health care professionals.Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.Decentral ICU Pharmacist Experience:1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing DevicesResidency TrainingExperience with Pharmacy Information SystemsEducation & Credential Requirements: Bachelors Degree (Non Nursing) RequiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) RequiredRegistered Pharmacist RequiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) RequiredLicensed Pharmacist RequiredDriver's License RequiredThis Decentral ICU Pharmacist position will be located at our downtown campus, Baptist Jacksonville.
