Position OverviewSalary: $50,000 - $60,000 (based on education and experience)The Healthcare Revenue Analyst is responsible for overseeing the full revenue cycle to ensure accurate Medicaid and third-party billing, timely collections, and regulatory compliance. This role manages service authorizations, billing processes, and medical record documentation in accordance with healthcare, legal, and ethical standards.The Analyst ensures alignment between program services and financial reporting, safeguards revenue integrity, and supports overall financial sustainability.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRevenue Cycle Management Manage the complete revenue cycle process including authorization, service verification, billing, payment posting, and reconciliation Review service documentation to ensure compliance prior to claim submission Submit accurate Medicaid waiver and third-party claims in accordance with regulatory requirements Research, correct, and resubmit denied or rejected claims in a timely mannerAuthorization & Compliance Oversight Receive, review, and track service authorizations Ensure services align with approved authorizations Maintain compliance with Medicaid waiver and other funding source regulations Ensure proper documentation retention in accordance with legal and audit standardsAccounts Receivable Management Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances Reconcile billing activity to the general ledger on a monthly basis Identify trends impacting revenue and recommend corrective actionsReporting & Analysis Prepare monthly revenue reports and billing metrics Track key performance indicators including denial rates, aging trends, and authorization utilization Assist in revenue forecasting and budget monitoring Provide data and documentation for internal and external auditsQualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare billing or Medicaid waiver billing experience required Experience in nonprofit or Medicaid-funded environments strongly preferred Knowledge of healthcare coding systems and regulatory requirements Proficiency in financial systems and electronic health record (EHR) platforms Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteCompetencies Strong focus on revenue integrity High level of regulatory compliance awareness Strong reconciliation and analytical capability Effective cross-department collaboration High attention to detail and commitment to compliance Confidentiality and strong ethical standards#SN
