Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: 32-40 hours per week; Monday-Friday; work either Monday or Friday each week- Patient Population: All Ages- Location: Jackson, MI Benefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure.- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures.- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase.- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and anesthesia records.- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards.- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed.Qualifications- Board Certified CRNA.- Active Michigan license.- Clean background and recent NPDB self-query.- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.- Minimum of 1-year CRNA experience required.- No job gaps. Working Hours- 32-40 hours per week, scheduled in 8 or 10-hour shifts.- No on-call duties; strictly scheduled shifts. Skills- Proficiency in administering general, neurosurgical, and spinal anesthesia.- Experience with Epic EMR systems.- Strong collaborative skills for working in a multidisciplinary team.- Excellent patient monitoring and airway management skills.
