Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Needed Start Date: As soon as possible End Date: Ongoing Schedule: 32-40 hours per week (8-hour or 10-hour shifts) Must be available to work either Monday or Friday every week Clinical Details Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op) Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed Requirements Board Certified: NBCRNA Active MI license Clean Background Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) Must have 1 year CRNA experience No job gaps Provider must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours, and have either Monday or Friday availability every week Certification Requirements: ACLS (AHA), PALS, BLS (AHA)
