PLS (NY)

SNI is seeking PLS in New York for a Growing Survey Firm! The Professional Land Surveyor should possess the skills, experience, and knowledge to support our Land Surveying Services. This position reports directly to the Senior Survey Project Manager or Director of Survey Operations and will assist other positions as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, organizes and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in working with us Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys Ensures our Field and Data Standards are adhered to on all projects Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed Provides the project team and clients with frequent progress reports and cost analysis Assist in business development/ growth and day to day operations SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Active Professional Land Survey (PLS) License in the state the work is to be performed 5 years or more experience Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills Experience on linear surveys particularly in the oil and gas industry is preferred Compensation and Benefits: The compensation for this position starts in the range of $130K.
