We are seeking one skilled Crimping Technician to support automated production equipment in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot precision machinery while ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Hours & PayShift: 3rd ShiftPay Rate: $24.15 per hourWhat You'll DoPerform equipment setup, operation, minor repairs, and daily preventative maintenanceMaintain raw material feeds and clear machine stoppages on automated equipmentUse Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to monitor and adjust process controlsTroubleshoot mechanical errors and safety issues using structured problem-solving methodsPrepare raw materials and ensure timely job completion to meet production schedulesSupport new product transfers, process development, and equipment validationsUse measuring instruments to verify tolerances and product specificationsWork from production specifications, work orders, and supervisor instructionsFollow standard operating procedures for material handling, documentation, packaging, and shipment preparationMaintain compliance with GMP and quality standardsNotify leadership of discrepancies affecting safety or product qualityMaintain a clean and organized manufacturing workspaceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actionsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or Associate degree with 2-4 years of manufacturing experienceStrong English proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)Experience operating and maintaining automated machines and production equipmentFamiliarity with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, dial indicators, and gauge blocksKnowledge of production processes, raw materials, and quality control techniquesMechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipmentBasic math skills, including arithmetic and algebraExperience with discrete assembly, robotics, optical gauging, or video microscopes preferredAbility to stand for at least 75% of the shift and walk up to 50% of the shiftStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independentlyBenefitsThis position offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial stability, and work-life balance.
