Job Title: Traffic CoordinatorLocation: City of Industry, CA Shift: 7:00 am - 3:45 pm Monday - FridayPay: $22.00 - $24.00Position Overview:The Traffic Coordinator routes shipments, traces orders, provides rate quotes, and assists customers both internal & external with all modes of transportation for both domestic and international shipments.Essential Duties: Routes shipments, trace orders, provide rate quotes, and assists customers both internal & external with all modes of transportation for both domestic and international shipments. Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping and tracking of outbound/inbound orders. Informs transporters for freight pick up and ensure all documentation is accurate on shipping paperwork. Preparing and verifying bills of lading. SAP knowledgeable preferred. Education & Qualification Requirement: Requires a minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent, Preferable some college education with 2-3 years' experience in this field or in a related area. Prior Transportation (logistics) experience SAP experience Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook Possess strong customer service skills, excellent telephone skills and the ability to work in a team environment. You need a "can do" attitude and are flexible with the duties assigned to your desk. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within this industry. Computer literate and able to correspond in writing as well as verbally in a professional manner.
