About the job DSD/HR - Director of Staff Development Director of Staff Development (DSD) / Human ResourcesFull-Time | On-site | City of Industry, CADepartment: Staff DevelopmentSchedule: Monday-Friday, general business hours (flexible as assigned)Pay Range: $72,000 - $98,000 annually (DOE)Reports To: Education Director & Facility AdministratorAbout the RoleWellTech Partners is seeking a dedicated Director of Staff Development (DSD) / HR professional to support employee training, compliance, and human resources operations for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a licensed nurse with DSD certification who enjoys developing staff, supporting regulatory compliance, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.You will play a key role in staff onboarding, CNA training, license tracking, HR compliance, and employee development, while partnering closely with leadership to support facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesStaff Development & TrainingCoordinate and conduct CNA in-service training to meet certification and regulatory requirementsSupport and participate in New Employee Orientation programsTrack and maintain all staff licenses, certifications, and CPR recordsAssist with employee physicals, PPDs, and health screenings as requiredHuman Resources & ComplianceAssist with recruitment and hiring of facility staff, including interviews and reference checksMaintain accurate personnel files and employment recordsSupport compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations related to HR and Risk ManagementParticipate in developing, implementing, and interpreting facility policies and proceduresMaintain HR and risk management records using computerized systemsEmployee Support & AdministrationServe as a resource to staff and follow up on training or development needsAssist Facility Administrator with HR-related initiatives and reportingParticipate in payroll distribution and administrative support as assignedMonitor benefits vendors and assist with benefits administration and negotiationsSupport department budgeting and cost control initiativesQualificationsActive RN or LVN/LPN license in the state of CaliforniaDirector of Staff Development (DSD) Certificate requiredCurrent CPR certificationWorking knowledge of Human Resources, including labor relations, benefits, and risk managementStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to apply nursing principles consistent with professional standardsPhysical RequirementsFrequent walking, bending, reaching, and standingAbility to lift up to 25 poundsOccasional pushing/pulling of equipment or materialsRepetitive hand movements and fine motor skills requiredWellTech Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
