They are smart, accomplished, and often exhausted from fighting alone.We are looking for an Associate Attorney who is ready to stand beside them "” strategically, intelligently, and fearlessly.If you are looking for a firm where you can hide in the background, this is not the place.If you are looking for a firm where your legal skill, voice, and leadership matter "” keep reading.Compensation:$100,000 yearlyResponsibilities:What You'll Actually DoThis is a litigation-forward role with significant responsibility.You will:Draft EEOC charges and position statementsPrepare and file federal complaintsDevelop case strategy and theory from intake through trialDraft and respond to written discoveryTake and defend depositionsDraft and argue motions (including summary judgment)Participate in mediations and settlement negotiationsPrepare cases for trialCommunicate directly with sophisticated clientsCollaborate with paralegals and legal support staff to move cases efficientlyYou will not simply "assist." You will own cases with supervision, strategy sessions, and feedback.Qualifications:Who You AreYou Are:Licensed and in good standing (Indiana preferred; multi-state is a plus)2-6 years of litigation experience preferred (employment law is a bonus, not a requirement)Comfortable drafting without heavy templatesStrong in legal writing and analysisAble to think strategically "” not just reactivelyConfident speaking in depositions or eager to learn quicklyOrganized and deadline-drivenCoachable but not fragileEmotionally intelligent with clients in crisisEnergized by advocating for women in the workplaceBonus If You:Have federal court experienceHave taken or defended depositionsUnderstand damages theories (including emotional distress and punitive damages)Thrive in a high-accountability environmentAbout CompanyAmber K.
