The ideal candidate has hands-on orthodontic assisting experience and is confident supporting clinical procedures and patient communication. Responsibilities: Chair-side assisting during ortho procedures Take X-rays and orthodontic photos (state-approved certification required) Prepare patients and explain treatment steps Set up trays and materials Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory Chart accurately and support treatment flow Schedule: Wednesday & Thursday - Indianapolis Office Qualifications: Required Education & Experience:Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (as required by state)Minimum 3-6 months orthodontic assisting experience required; 1 year strongly preferredCPR/BLS certificationExperience taking x-rays and orthodontic photosMust have state-approved X-ray/radiography certification for IndianaExperience assisting with bonding, adjustments, and ortho proceduresStrong communication skills and a patient-first approachDependable, punctual, and professionalIdeal Traits:Friendly, positive, and reassuring with patientsConfident and capable in chair-side supportStrong attention to detail and accuracyAble to multitask and manage prioritiesProfessional appearance and communicationIntegrity and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:Ability to communicate clearly with patients, parents, and clinical staffAbility to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 30 lbsAble to work in a clinical setting and adapt to varying workloadsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensationPaid time off and holidaysSupportive team environmentAbout Benevis:With over 3,000 employees nationwide, Benevis is committed to improving access to dental care and supporting the health of the communities we serve.
