Engage with the general public and community organizations to enhance the restaurant’s public relations. Communicate with suppliers regarding the delivery of high-quality supplies and restaurant equipment maintenance. Maintain staffing levels through effective hiring and scheduling in compliance with company policies and labor laws. Supervise staff to ensure prompt customer service, product quality, equipment maintenance, sanitation, and an appealing restaurant environment. Utilize company training tools to provide on-the-job training for crew members. Apply financial controls for accountability regarding petty cash, P&L statements, daily deposits, payroll, and budget management. Address and resolve customer complaints tactfully to maintain high customer satisfaction. Evaluate the performance of supervisors and recognize job achievements. Prepare sales and expense projections to establish realistic profit objectives. Exercise sound judgment in employee relations, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Maintain accurate records and reports as required by law and company policies. Train and develop Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees to foster their growth. Ensure a safe work environment for all employees and customers. Undertake additional duties as assigned.
