The Groves Rehab and Healthcare Center - Position OverviewLuxor Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and motivated Transportation Director to oversee and coordinate transportation services across eight Missouri facilities. This role is essential in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation for residents.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily transportation schedules for residents across 8 Luxor Healthcare locationsCommunicate regularly with drivers to assign routes, provide updates, and ensure full coverageQuickly adjust schedules to accommodate call-offs, vacations, and last-minute changesServe as the primary point of contact for all transportation operationsCollaborate with external transportation partners, including ShowMe TransportationEnsure compliance with Missouri Medicaid and non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) requirementsMaintain accurate scheduling records and transportation logsTroubleshoot and resolve transportation and scheduling issues in real timeQualificationsFamiliarity with Missouri Medicaid and Medicaid transportation services preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environmentSelf-starter who requires little to no supervisionStrong problem-solving skills and adaptabilityExperience in scheduling, logistics, or transportation coordination preferredIdeal CandidateEnergetic, dependable, and detail-orientedStrong people skills with the ability to manage relationships with drivers, staff, and partnersAble to handle multiple priorities and deadlines efficientlyQuick thinker who can make decisions under pressure
