Job Summary and Qualifications As an Ultrasound Coordinator, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership abilities and interested in being part of a team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do. In this role: * You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned modality. * You will coordinate staffing assignments, patient scheduling, patient flow and monitors quality assurance activities. * You will serve as the lead technical expert for assigned modality and perform technologist duties. * You will train other department personnel, as necessary, to allow them to become familiar with the Ultrasound equipment. * You will assist in the clinical education of radiologic technology students as well as assisting within services within the department. * You will be responsible for assessment, treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served. * You will assist the director with staff selection, orientation, evaluations and provide ongoing development of staff members in assigned modality. What qualifications you will need: * American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification. * You must be registered with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) * Supervisory or lead technologist experience is preferred.
