Sheet Metal Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Structural Mechanic to support multiple rotary-wing aircraft programs across several military installations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in structural repairs and modifications, sheet metal fabrication, and depot-level maintenance, with prior experience on rotary-wing platforms highly preferred. This position requires travel between Huntsville, Fort Bragg, and Fort Bliss.Key Responsibilities:Perform structural repairs, replacements, and rebuilds on aircraft airframes, including skin panels, frames, bulkheads, and structural components in accordance with applicable technical manuals and engineering data.Fabricate, modify, and install sheet metal components and structural assemblies using hand tools and power tools to meet dimensional and airworthiness requirements.Conduct depot-level structural maintenance, identifying and correcting discrepancies in aircraft structures, flight surfaces, and related systems.Document maintenance as per Quality Assurance (QA) and established regulatory requirements.Comply with work order timekeeping system procedures.Comply with safety rules and procedures and perform work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work area. Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety, violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:6+ years of experience as a structural or sheet metal mechanic within the defense or aerospace industry.Experience performing structural maintenance and sheet metal fabrication on military rotary-wing aircraft, preferably AH-64 Apache or UH-60 Black Hawk.Depot-level maintenance experienceUS Citizenship required.Must provide own shadowed/etched tools and toolbox.Must possess a valid US driver's license.
