LEAD SONOGRAPHER/ECHO TECH

Qualifications: Education: A graduate of AMA approved Echocardiography program License/Certifications: Eligible or Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Cadiac Sonographers Experience: The position of Lead Sonographer requires a broad based knowledge of Cardiac sonography practices through formal training, 3+ year s clinical experience. Responsible to: Cardiopulmonary Manager and Echocardiography Lab Medical Director Responsible for: None Summary: The Lead Echo Tech will be responsible for helping to coordinate workflow throughout the Echo Lab, advising supervisor/director of staffing needs, monitoring department Scanning and Report quality, Quality Assurance monitoring and meetings, guide needed adherence to accrediting and regulatory bodies, facilitate communication with our system partners, work in partnership with vendors as needed, participate in and act a point of contact for clinical and support staff as needed.
