TVI - Hubert, North Carolina

This full-time role is designed for experienced Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) serving K-12 students. The position offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students across an entire school district, working itinerantly to meet diverse student needs. Responsibilities include delivering tailored educational programs to students with visual impairments, collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff, conducting assessments, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The teacher will travel within the district to various schools to ensure access to appropriate learning environments and resources. Key Qualifications: Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential required Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments Ability to work independently and manage a flexible itinerant schedule Strong communication skills for collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals Willingness to relocate or commute within the district; out-of-state applicants are encouraged to apply Location: This position is based in Hubert, North Carolina, supporting multiple schools in the surrounding district area.
