Delivery Merchandiser Lead

Job Summary The Delivery Merchandiser Lead (DML) is responsible for leading and coaching a team of Delivery Merchandisers (DM) and Delivery Merchandiser Reliefs (DMR) to promote the delivery of products and to provide exemplary customer service. The Delivery Merchandiser Lead plays an integral role in developing and leading the frontline delivery team for success. Primary Responsibilities: * Managing assigned DM's and DMR's * Providing coaching, training, and motivation to new and existing DM's and DMR's to ensure achievement of branch revenue, profit, and growth goals. * Managing DM's and DMR's performance to ensure customer base goals are achieved; holding drivers accountable for executing their duties and responsibilities and taking proper corrective action, as recommended, if necessary, including termination of employment. * Leading strong safety culture by utilizing company safety initiatives to minimize injury, work time loss, and productivity loss. * Ensuring that staffing levels are maintained at an appropriate level to meet current and future delivery needs. * Conducting scheduled interactions with DM's and DMR's including Work With, One with Ones and riding with the DM's and DMR's for additional training, coaching and routine driving observations.
