The organization provides comprehensive medical evaluations for our nation's veterans through a nationwide network of healthcare providers, offering flexible work arrangements and professional support.Opportunity:Nurse Practitioner - General MedicineJob Details:• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans• Must have own office within 50 miles of Warwick, RI for this specific opening• 5 days per week coverage needed in Warwick, RI area• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion and muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities - evaluation only• Option to work half-days (4 hours) and/or full days (8+ hours)• Follow-up administrative work required including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• DMA certification training completion required• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)• Active and unrestricted Rhode Island license required• AANP certification required• Office must meet ADA compliance requirements with required facility photos• Quick credentialing and onboarding process• Ongoing PRN basis with flexible schedulingCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
