Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine Join our dedicated team of General Medicine Providers and help support our nation's veterans by conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. This unique role offers the flexibility to work from your own office in beautiful Houston, Minnesota. You will be part of a progressive, veteran-focused organization committed to delivering top-notch care without the constraints of prescribing or treatment. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments. Perform primarily interview-based examinations, including physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing. Coordinate with veterans and ensure accurate documentation of findings. Complete administrative work related to exploring medical opinions and reading diagnostics. Maintain a flexible schedule with options for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts. Participate in quick credentialing and onboarding processes. Qualifications: Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products). Current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) is required. Possess an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota. Willing to complete DMA training to obtain DMA certification. Must have a current CV with the home address listed. License and Certification Requirements: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Minnesota. Current AANP certification.
