Location: Marble Falls, TX Status: Part-Time Schedule: Flexible | Minimum 4 shifts per month Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, seven days a week Compensation: $120-$140/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: 401(k) available for eligible providers Position Summary NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas. You'll practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced staff and accessible medical leadership. Key Responsibilities * Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting * Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits * Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging * Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care * Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions * Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR * Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks * Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values * Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations * Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing in the clinic network Required Qualifications * Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license * Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred) * Active DEA license or ability to obtain * Ability to treat patients of all ages * Active BLS certification * EHR proficiency * Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays * DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications * Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience * Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care * Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, operating 160+ clinics across 11 states.
