Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in the provision of patient care. Provides care, counsel, and teaching to patients. Performs medical treatments, administers medications, and collects laboratory specimens as prescribed. Supervises, teaches, and delegates to other personnel the performance of nursing care activities. Explains plans of care to patients and their families.
