Lead Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities Objectives of this role • Provide guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, helping them develop their technical skills, career growth, and problem-solving abilities • Identify skill gaps within the team and provide or recommend training resources to ensure engineers are up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends • Promote a collaborative and open team culture, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation between team members, and with other departments like product management and design • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth • Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design • Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities Responsibilities • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with senior management, other engineering teams, and business units. Translate complex technical topics into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders • Encourage and implement process improvements to increase team productivity, code quality, and project delivery efficiency. Advocate for Agile or other development methodologies as necessary • Anticipate potential technical risks and bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality • Advocate for and implement test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and other tools to improve the speed and quality of releases • Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment • Design and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale • Work primarily in technologies like .NET, Angular/REACT, Java Script, SQL Server, Postgres, etc. • Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable APIs • Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition to maintain high levels of motivation and productivity Qualifications Required skills and qualifications • At least 5-7 of Industry experience in working and building large-scale software applications • Experience in building web applications • Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs • Knowledge of Angular/REACT and Java Script • Excellent debugging and optimization skills • Experience in unit/integration testing Preferred skills and qualifications • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering • Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies • Professional certifications
