Travel Cath Lab Technologist - Hillsborough, NJ

Join a dynamic cardiovascular team as a Cath Lab Technologist in a well-equipped healthcare facility located in Hillsborough, NJ. This travel position offers a unique opportunity to apply your imaging and invasive cardiac procedure skills in a fast-paced catheterization lab setting. The role focuses on supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of imaging quality. Schedule & Hours: 4x10-hour shifts Flexible start time between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM On-call availability preferred, up to 10 days per month (average of 6 days) Call shifts begin at either 5 PM or 7 PM and end at 6:30 AM the following day On-call technicians are expected to be within a 30-minute radius of the hospital or utilize provided on-call rooms Key Responsibilities: Prepare the catheterization laboratory, including equipment setup, inventory management, and maintaining a sterile environment Assist physicians by functioning as a scrub tech during diagnostic and interventional procedures Monitor hemodynamic data and operate control room equipment during procedures while accurately documenting records Deliver high-quality radiographic imaging with a strong focus on radiation safety and quality assurance Review patient procedure orders and medical records, explain procedures to patients, and address their questions to enhance the patient experience Maintain detailed documentation including images, reports, equipment maintenance, and inventory control Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program Registered Radiology Technologist (RT) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; 2 or more years preferred Location Overview: This position is based near Hillsborough, NJ, offering access to a suburban lifestyle with proximity to urban amenities.
