The Judge Group is currently seeking a Lead Network Engineer to work fully onsite at West Point, New York. US citizenship is required for this position due to the sensitive nature of the environment. The responsibilities include overseeing, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program and personnel in support of 24-hour coverage of the Network Operations Center (NOC) by onsite (0600-2400) or on call staff. The NOC is staffed from 0600 to 2400 on weekdays, including class and training days, graduation, and other special events, but does not include federal holidays. Weekend and end-of-week evening coverage can be done remotely or on call. Additionally leading and mentoring our existing Network Support team in deployments, configuration, designs and supporting daily operations, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Network Engineering functions. This individual will also serve as the Government's point of contact and provide technical supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the contract. The network operations team lead shall have experience in the following management and technical areas: Must hold at least Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) in Enterprise Infrastructure, when assigned Expected to be conversant in Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) material. Must have the technical acumen to perform all duties required in the Network Systems Architect requirement. Expected to be conversant in CCIE Security material. Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing large, complex IT projects and operations of network infrastructure supporting thousands of end users and devices. Advance experience administering and managing multiple IT tasks and substantial IT projects similar in size and scope. Knowledge of network design and operations for heterogenous wired and wireless enclaves with multiple security zones and data sensitivity. Excellent planning and documentation skills using Project or Planer with network documentation using Visio or similar tools. Understanding of NIST Special Publication 800-53 as relating to network security configuration and STIG requirements. Must also meet minimum standards for DoD8140 certification for work roles at an advanced level. Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines for example, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
