Production Manager (Manufacturing - Multi-Site Operations)Hickory, NC area$70,000 - $90,000 + BonusSeeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while developing high-performing teams and ensuring operational excellence across multiple facilities.This is a highly visible leadership position with ownership of production performance, workforce development, and continuous improvement initiatives in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.What You'll DoOwn and drive all production KPIs, analyzing performance by line, shift, and individual to identify opportunities across people, processes, and equipmentLead day-to-day manufacturing operations across multiple production lines in a 24/7 environmentEnsure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met and aligned with customer specificationsDevelop, coach, and mentor production teams, including Process Leads and supervisors, building a strong leadership pipelinePartner cross-functionally with maintenance, quality, logistics, procurement, and planning teams to support operational successOversee production planning and scheduling, ensuring accurate and timely execution of work ordersDrive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain strong floor presence to monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and lead by exampleEnsure proper staffing, training, and cross-training to support production demands and operational flexibilityWhat We're Looking For3-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Production Manager or similar)Strong experience in KPI-driven environments and performance managementProven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced production settingExperience with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling toolsSolid understanding of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and quality systemsAbility to thrive in a hands-on, floor-driven leadership roleStrong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., ISO-certified)Familiarity with PPAP, IMDS, or similar quality standardsBachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
