Maintenance ManagerJob SummaryLocal Hickory area manufacturer is seeking a maintenance manager at their upholstery manufacturing facilities. This position oversees all equipment and facility maintenance for multiple local buildings. Responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs and construction projects, the maintenance manager should have an excellent working knowledge of dust collection systems, CNC routers, plumbing and electrical. Primary Job Responsibilities• Develop preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure maximum production efficiency and output;• Manage repairs of machine, electrical and CNC breakdowns;• Select, coordinate and manage outside construction and maintenance contractors as necessary;• Supervise maintenance department of up to 10 individuals, assigning tasks as appropriate;• Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations, such as lockouttagout, fall prevention, etc.• Assist with facility layout and design, capex planning, budgeting and cost reporting.Experience & Abilities• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a furniture manufacturing environment;• Solid working knowledge of dust collection systems, CNC equipment, plumbing, and electrical;• Project management skills, including coordinating contractors and in-house resources, and budgeting;• Ability to successfully leadmanage a team,• Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple department managers.recblid k4g71dzi266htt1gruuqhwuep5sm46
