Description - What You'll Do Conduct a variety of routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols. Ensure test accuracy by meticulously analyzing outcomes, troubleshooting inconsistencies, and performing regular maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment. Assist in the collection of specimens, preparing them for testing as necessary. Meticulously document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the highest quality standards within the lab. Keep a tidy and safe work area, complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment. Continuous certification maintenance is required throughout your employment. Skills Exceptional communication skills paired with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.
