Job DutiesStart Date: 04/15/2026End Date: 11/13/2026Hours: 44 hours/week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hours/day, Sat. 4 hours/day, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. The nature of farm work may require workers to work after dark and possibly weekends depending on weather conditions. Hours offered may vary based on factors such as weather or other unpredictable variables that impact the farm’s operation.Must Apply By: 07/31/2026Job Duties: Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties consistent with SOC Code 45-2092, Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse. Duties may include participating in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops, including working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers. Workers will repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.Workers will operate 4WD articulated tractors and tractor-drawn machinery, such as field cultivators, to plow, harrow, and fertilize soil, and to plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops including corn, soybeans, and sugar beets. Duties also include loading agricultural inputs and driving trucks to transport materials to fields, as well as loading and transporting harvested crops to storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles, or bags.Additional responsibilities include cleaning work areas, maintaining farm grounds and landscaping, regulating crop or storage conditions as needed, and repairing farm buildings, fences, and other structures.The employer maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Upon hire, workers may be subject to random drug testing at no cost to the worker. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.
