Job Title: STEM Teacher Reports to: Campus Principal Location: In-Person, CASLV Eastgate Campus - Henderson, NV Position Type: Full-Time, 10-Month (School Year) Position Summary The STEM Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The role fosters critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on, project-based learning experiences. The STEM Teacher promotes academic excellence and prepares students for college, careers, and STEM-related pathways. Key Responsibilities Design and implement rigorous, standard-aligned STEM curriculum. Deliver engaging instruction using inquiry-based and project-based learning strategies. Integrate technology, engineering design processes, and real-world applications into instruction. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instructional decisions. Foster a classroom environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking. Supervise and ensure student safety during laboratory, engineering, and hands-on activities. Support cross-curricular integration of STEM concepts. Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress. Participate in professional learning communities and ongoing professional development. Maintain accurate records, grades, and required documentation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Valid Nevada teaching license appropriate to grade level and subject area. Strong knowledge of STEM instructional practices and standards. Ability to integrate instructional technology effectively. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Preferred: Master's degree in STEM-related field or Education. Experience with robotics, coding, engineering design, or laboratory-based instruction.
