Providing assistance with specimen collection processes and preparing samples for diagnostic testing as needed. Keeping comprehensive records of procedures, mentoring new staff or students, and ensuring high standards of lab quality control. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with health regulations and accreditation standards. Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field, or an equivalent allied health degree accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Licenses and Certifications ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment. Continuously maintain certification throughout your tenure.
