TransForce is looking for an Intermodal Trailer Technician in Henderson, CO for one our clients. We welcome both experienced technicians and entry-level candidates. If you have hands-on mechanical experience — including military mechanical training — we want to talk. Pay & Schedule Experienced Technicians: $30-$35 per hour based on experience Entry-Level Technicians: $22-$23 per hour Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays 8AM start time, shifts run 8-11 hours depending on workload What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on intermodal trailers Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues Repair or replace brakes, suspension systems, tires, and other trailer components Complete welding and light fabrication work as needed Ensure all equipment meets DOT safety and compliance standards Accurately document all maintenance and repair work What You Need High school diploma or equivalent — technical or vocational training preferred Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Valid driver's license — CDL preferred but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Experience Hands-on trailer technician experience — intermodal or refrigerated equipment strongly preferred Diesel mechanic background Familiarity with CAT or Cummins engines Experience with diagnostic tools and schematics Welding and fabrication skills Certifications That Stand Out (Not Required) EPA 608 Certification (Universal or Type II) ASE Certification in Heavy Truck and/or Trailer Systems Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays 401(k) with company match up to 6% CDL tuition reimbursement for eligible employees Relocation assistance stipend available for qualified candidates Ongoing training and career advancement opportunities Why Drivers Choose TransForce TransForce has built a reputation for reliable pay, consistent work, and flexibility that big operators can't match.
