The Department of Engineering has an opening for a faculty member with a background in one of the undergraduate degree programs offered at Hofstra: Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field. The engineering programs at Hofstra are experiencing rapid growth, and the successful applicant will contribute to the department's ability to offer a top-tier undergraduate educational experience to our students. Hence, candidates must be effective communicators with a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, be able to initiate sustained research - especially of a type that can involve advanced undergraduates - and show initiative in seeking external funding for research. Salary/Salary Range $100,000-$110,000 Additional Information Hofstra University provides the above salaryas a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
